5 year old Quarter Horse X gelding, came through auction in 2008. Due to severe conformation issues (he is the original ‘crooked leg’ and one of the reasons that Crooked Leg Ranch Animal Rescue Society was formed), Val is a permanent resident. Brought for $75, he would have likely been sent to slaughter without intervention.
Sadly, Valentino’s conformation issues resulted in him crossing the rainbow bridge, so that he could be pain-free.
